Do I need to be a CAP student to participate?
No, the Debate Boot Camp will be open to anyone who wishes to participate, as long as they meet all of the participation requirements (English level and school year).
Do I need to speak English to participate?
The DBC will be entirely in English, so you will need to master the language. Participants must have an intermediate/advanced level of English.
Do I have to pay my subscription?
No! The DBC is totally FREE, from the registration to the event, with all of its activities. All you have to do is register and meet the requirements to participate!
Can those who participated in the event (last year) participate this year?
Does CAP’s Debate Boot Camp count as an extracurricular activity?
Yes, participation in the event can be placed on the list of extracurricular activities in your application to American universities.
Do I receive a certificate for participating in the event?
Yes! Although it is not necessary to send certification of participation in events and extracurricular activities in the application process to US universities, participants of the Virtual Debate Boot Camp will receive documented proof of their engagement in the event!
Is there a prize for the winning team?
Yes! The final debate-winning team will receive the first CAP monthly fee.
Is the Debate Boot Camp face-to-face?
No, the event will take place online. We will send the access link to selected participants.
