Meet CAP
The College Advising Program is a mentoring program that prepares Brazilian High School students to have a solid and competitive application to universities in the USA. Our team specializes in the application process and guides students throughout each step.
Beyond the regular activities of the program, we promote events, such as the Debate Boot Camp, Admission Workshop, and CAP Virtual College Fair, that improve the abilities and broaden the knowledge of the participants, increasing their performance as students and favoring their applications.

Rules for participation:
– Be enrolled in the 1st or 2nd year of Brazilian high school (1° e 2° ano do ensino médio);
– Have an intermediate level of English;
– Only essays from students who attend the workshop will be eligible for the prize;
– Keep up with the WhatsApp group for the access links.

Do I need to be a CAP student to participate?
No, CAP Essay Workshop & Contest is open to everyone that is enrolled in the 1st or 2nd year of Brazilian high school (1° e 2° ano do ensino médio) and has an intermediate level of English.
Can I submit my essay if I haven't attend the Workshop?
No, only essays from students who attended the workshop will be considered in the contest and, therefore, eligible for the prize.
Will there be any prizes for the winners?
YES! All submitted essays that follow all the rules for participation will compete for an SAT registration as the first place prize.
Do I need to know English to participate?
Yes, the entire event will be in English and the essays have to be original to you and written in English.
Do I have to pay to participate?
No, CAP Essay Workshop & Contest is completely FREE, both to register and to participate. All you have to do is register, attend and submit the best essay possible!
Can anyone who has participated in the event last year also participate this year?
Yes! As long as they follow all the rules of participation.
Is CAP Essay Workshop & Contest in-person?
No, the event will be completely online. The access links will be available to those who complete their registrations and follow the rules of participation.
